Welcome to Eastern Star in British Columbia & Yukon! If you are looking for a way to do something for others, and have a great time in the process, you are at the right place. We are a fraternal organization that is always on the lookout for adults of all ages who are trying to better themselves and the community around them.

Our Values

We strive to live our lives by the enduring beliefs of Fidelity, Constancy, Loyalty, Faith And Love, the virtues of the heroines of our Order

Friendship: We are the largest fraternal organization in the world to which both women and men can belong. With Chapters in every province and in 27 countries around the world, members can go anywhere and know that they can find friends and a helpful hand when they are in need.

Community Service: We encourage our members not only to help one another, but also to reach out to their communities. Members are active in many community-based projects for those requiring assistance.

Diversity: The members of our Order reflect the social, cultural, educational, ethnic, and religious diversity of the community around them. We value each other’s strengths and opinions.

Charity: As an organization, we raise funds for aid to our members in need, in addition to cancer we offer scholarships to students, and many more projects. Visit our page"Grand Chapter Projects" to see all our projects

Vision Statement

The Order of the Eastern Star is a fraternal organization of men and women committed to providing an environment of friendship and fellowship, regardless of age, by implementing innovative ideas, facilitating positive change and planning for the future, while working cohesively with our Masonic Family.

Membership

We have certain membership requirements. Women who are related to a Master Mason in specific ways are eligible, be a Majority member of Job's Daughters International. Men must be Master Masons in good standing to be eligible. You must have a belief in a Supreme Being, be at least 18 years old and a resident of British Columbia or Yukon.
